Universal Registry Client
The Universal Registry Client is a desktop application which can be used to communicate with different domain name registries. URC uses a standard set of methods which are defined in the Generic Registry Interface (GRI) to provide a unified view of all supported domain name registries.
URC requires JDK 1.2 or higher. You can download the URC package by itself and it includes binary builds of the EPP, RRP and XRP registry implementations already in the proper location. If you want to view the source for a specific registry implementation you must download that library separately.
URC is a work in progress. The APIs could very well change between releases, although I will do my best to minimize these types of changes.
